I've lived in South Beach for five years and have worked as a trend scout for this time. What is a trend scout? This is someone who makes a point of being on top of everything new and exciting, before the rest of the general public know about it. We find the designers, the creators, the people, who are influencing the major changes in trends that will eventually be bought, produced, and marketed to everyone else worldwide!
Wow. Who know that the creative process could actually be boiled down to a big marketing scheme. Well, we live in a consumer society, whether you are a high-profile fashionista buying every "it" bag that's produced, living off of caviar and champagne, or if you are a raw-food vegan who only buys sustainable clothes.
The point of this website is not only to post my general opinions on everything (lucky you!) but also to give you, special person that you are, and insight into my adopted home of Miami, Florida.

It's insane, crazy, wonderful, colorful, and full of culture.
Miami Style Watch is one person's view (that would be me, Caroline) of this town, and everything related to it. This includes fashion, design, art, music, cuisine..and everything in-between! I'm planning on writing about the newest designers to my favorite hairdresser to the best Friday happy hour on the beach. (and if you don't know that it's Monty's and then Smith and Wollensky, then you are SO happy you've found my site!)
