Dominick's Birthday Bash
Friday (after our little artistic foray into DCOTA) was also a day of TOTAL and COMPLETE mayhem!
Friday is a favorite evening for most South Beach locals..and this one was no different, as we were celebrating our friend Dominick's birthday! We started out at the first happy hour stop of the evening, Monty's.. then on to Smith & Wollensky for dinner (yum, thanks Bruce!) and then a visit to our favorite bartender (and good friend!) Jordan at Nikki Beach. This was a little nuts.. is Friday L/G/B night? Could it be possible that Nikki Beach is actually becoming diverse and it's not just the same old crowd? This bar always has a great-looking staff and it's plenty of fun to visit... I've had many fun nights there and met some crazy great people (!!) but as of late, the quality control has been spiralling down, down, down, down...........boring Miami fluff... but this time, it was pretty fun!

At the end of the night, we ended up at everyone's favorite dive.. Ted's Hideaway! Loved by some, avoided by others, and some can't even find it.. Ted's is a South Beach maintstay and it is damn fun. Plus the girls are cute.
I'm not sure what the girl on the left is doing but hey, they're hers and she wants to show them off!
This, everyone, is a little part of Miami- it's not your typical style, which is why we love it... and it's local... so get out and check it, already!!!
