Louis Vuitton Store In Rome Gets Geek Chic Makeover

Wed, 06/06/2007 - 2:00pm by GeekSugar

Apparently, Louis Vuitton isn't just obsessed with Scarlett Johansson and handbags that cost $42,000, the company has reportedly launched an effort to incorporate conceptual architecture into each of their stores and has given their new store on Rome's Via Condotti an amazing and techie makeover. According to Eternallycool, the front entry of the store features a plasma screen staircase that plays ever-changing tricks on customers. The screens play a loop of cascading water, trailing vines and even a classic Louis Vuitton trunk pattern.

The project was designed by architect Peter Marino, who I found also gave the Hong Kong Louis Vuitton store a techie twist.
