Vogue + Shopping from your mac = Chic Computer Potato?
well, just another example of the consumerist society we live in!
So, I buy magazines because I just don't have the time to research every damn cool thing in the world. BUT, the best part about being in a magazine, for a designer, is the "press". Well.. now, in thanks to the powers that be at Conde Nast, you can now go straight to the boob tube and buy what you see on the pages of Vogue.
I have to be honest, I think this is weird. Maybe Conde NAst can, like, donate money to a charity for every item sold, so that it wouldn't be so blatantly about the money?
oooh!!
Do you think Anna Wintour will hawk a line of hair products or something?
now THAT would be entertaining!

On Aug. 21, Conde Nast will launch ShopVogue.TV, a broadband Internet channel molded after ShopVogue.com, the September-issue-offshoot where visitors can buy the products featured in Vogue’s ad pages. Except ShopVogue.TV will go once step further: original programming. 60 Seconds to Chic, Behind the Lens, and Trend Watch are all slated to air — and make Bud.TV look like a raging success story.
