UPDATE!  FIVE places closed.  CAFETERIA, duh.  The very epicenter of our crazy South Beach Universe.

well, it was a sad summer for long-time locals with FOUR fantastic places closing.  And worse- three of them were boutiques!!!
First, Pacific Time.  Next, Chroma.  Then, Sasparilla.  And, finally, Toff!
WTF?
Miami is just becoming wayyyy too fabulous and Lincoln Road is so expensive that cool little stores can't afford the damn rent anymore. 
Anyhow, it's nice to know that some places are still affordable: the internet.
