Christian Louboutin, whose super sexy pumps are known for their trademark red soles, has filed a trademark application in the US to ensure no other shoe manufacturer mimics his style. This request will also be rolled out in the UK. This comes after Louboutin's legal battle with New York-based shoe company, OH...DEER!, who has already used the red sole detail on their footwear.
"The shiny red color of the soles has no function other than to identify to the public that the shoes are mine," Louboutin told the US Trademark Office, according to reports in the press this weekend. You tell them, Christian!
