This is BRILLIANT! Anyone want to join me in Key Biscayne for a little House Decoration??
wow. i really like this idea!
If you, like me, want to hang curtains .. like, in your living room, since you live on the first floor, and people like to stop by your house and knock on your window even when you haven't answered the phone and want to stay in, but they can see you through the blinds (sorry for the rant, but this DOES really happen!!).. well, anyhow, it can be a bit difficult to choose something as simple as a curtain rod.
really.
so... I actually find this suggestion totally brilliant, and I am definitely going to be checking out the woods of miami and key biscayne for my new home decoration..

DIY: Tree Branch Curtain Rod

This DIY
tree branch curtain rod project doesn't seem like most original idea
ever. But actually, I've never seen it done before; it looks
rustic-chic; it achieves that branches trend; and it's super easy to pull off. Here are the steps, according to do-it-yourself:
- Find a tree branch slightly wider than your window trim.
- Use pruning shears to remove long twigs, but leave a few stubs for character.
- Spray-paint the branch or leave it natural.
- Choose tie-top curtain panels, which allow you to adjust for the curves of the branch—no clips or rings needed.
