Everyone loves girl trips!

okay.  I LOVE traveling with friends!  I think it's because I've traveled alone so much for work and visting family, so it's really a great bonus to hang with your girls.
Of course, in my case, lots of my "girls" are actually boys.. but hey, that's how I roll!!

Anyhow, this article is so funny.  Please note that the "lads trip" is apparently bound to be hampered by fighting and losing their passport.  heehee..

Girls-only trips more popular

Three in four women have been away on a girls-only trip but only just over half of men have travelled abroad with their friends, a survey has shown.

Just 52% of men as opposed to 75% of females have been on single-sex trips, the survey from travel website Kayak.co.uk found.

Hen parties and stag dos were the main reason for such trips, with "big city nightlife" the main attraction.

Just 5% of lads were keen on a gambling holiday, while only 19% of women wanted a beach destination for their girls-only break.

Credit cards were the must-have items for men, while make-up was the big essential for women.

As many as 29% of men were likely to lose their passport on a lads-only break, but only 7% reckoned they would get arrested and 10% predicted they might get into a fight with the locals.

Jeremy Clarkson, Ricky Gervais and Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff were considered the ideal blokes to go away with on a lads-only trip, while women opted for Lily Allen, Kate Moss and Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton.

Kayak.co.uk business development director Annie Wilson said: "When most people think of single-sex holidays, they tend to think of traditional beer swilling lads-on-tour stag dos, but with foreign travel becoming easier and more affordable every day, it's not surprising that it's now the ladies who are spending more time abroad with their girlfriends."
