South Florida Surfrider Foundation... drink beer for a cause and clean up our beaches!
Whee!
Well, I'm a little annoyed because I missed the Dune Restoration Project on 34th Street yesterday, but I have been totally swamped with work since I took almost 2 weeks off from work during the holidays... so back on the computer again, wheee!
Anyhow the South Florida Surfrider Foundation is a local chapter of people dedicated to saving our seas and surfing and, apparently, drinking for a cause. Who am I to argue with this logic?
If you know me well, you know that I love the water and I need to be by the water at all times... just the way I was drawn, I guess.
I'm a member.. and wherever you live, they have a chapter- so you should join, too. It IS our earth, after all.. don't you want to be able to swim in the water?
