Okay, so I will start this with a disclaimer.  I know the owners of this store.
BUT.. before I knew that I knew them, I had already decided it was one of the sweetest little shops in Amsterdam.

So I'm walking around last week and shopping with Molly and Sal when I walk into the Egg Mercantile.  It reminded me of Base in Miami, but was quirky, and had things like yarn from Uruguay.  I was intrigued!!  While I walked around, talking and laughing, I heard my name- who was it?  One of the owners was looking at me- and it was my friend JOSH!  Who I had not seen for 10 years!  Holy mackeral, right?  He and his partner, Steven, moved from San Francisco to Amsterdam and set up shop! 

Well.. there are more adventures starting at that point, but let's get to the basics:  The store rocks.  I'm going to stop by there again today to get something cute!  And next time you are in Amsterdam, well... you should, too!
