Botanical Kibbutz in Israel... amazing
i was out with my friend Joe last night and he just returned from a week at a botanical kibbutz called Ein Gedi. It looks amazing!!! People actually live IN the gardens... it's on the Dead Sea... it looks beautiful...
EIN GEDI Hotel

Even if you have no affinity to desert
landscapes, Ein Gedi Oasis is a sight not to be missed. Imagine
a haven with over 800 unique and rare species of trees, shrubs
and flowers from all over the world. This results in an exotic
well-maintained garden. Biblical plants such as Myrrh and
Frankincense, rare trees such as the Baobab,
|
tropical plants
from the rainforests, date and other palm trees, fruit trees
and local plants such as the Sdom Apple and many more all
grow in abundance. Cactii also flourish in great exuberance
in this unequalled natural park. The inhabitants of the kibbutz
reside amongst this truly striking flora providing a rare
and picturesque way of life for the kibbutz members and a
rare treat for guests.
