I have this crazy adoration of Ingrid Bergman.  It all started one day when "Notorious" was on television.  I had seen Casablanca, of course- but had not seen any other of her films.  Well, this film, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, really cinched it for me- she was amazing!  It actually turned out to be a full day of Ingrid Bergman films- and it was wonderful!
She is just so amazing to look at.. and the styling and costumes that they use in her films are absolutely breathtaking.

Ingrid Bergman wore Chanel pajamas that she pulled from her closet tothe 1974 awards show. Bergman received her third Oscar that year forher role in "Murder on the Orient Express."

I've revisited this admiration as I am reading her autobiography, "My Story" this week... a little find from one of my many visits to the local thrift stores!

The book is a fantastic look into her life.. the writing is a little weird, as it jumps from 1st person to 3rd person, but it really is entertaining.  I had to pull myself away to update the blog on this lazy Sunday!
