Karl Lagerfeld hates on girls with curves....
Wow. Well there is no denying that Karl Lagerfeld IS a design genius, and I DO love that he is so open with his opinion- there IS a happy medium between the bone-thin models on the runway and the chubby "mummies" on the couch. Really, Karl?!!!
Since I work in this industry, I really find this debate very interesting. The issues isn't whether or not someone is "normal" or "regular".. I mean, aren't we ALL normal? Some clothes look great on skinny girls, some look better on girls with curves. That's it!
Check out this interview... oh, and it's funny that Brigitte isn't using professional models anymore, I almost worked with them last year!

No one wants to look at chubby women, says designer

German designer Karl Lagerfeld has waded into the debate on too-thin models, telling a German publication that no one wants to look at chubby women on the runway.
His comments come a week after popular German women's magazine Brigitte announced it would no longer use professional models for its photo shoots.
"Fat mummies sit there in front of the television with their chip packets and say skinny models are ugly," Lagerfeld told Focus magazine in an interview published yesterday.
