Okay, to people from NYC, this may not seem very exciting.  BUT, if you are a Miami Beach local, you know that the trip from the beach to the airport is one that you will, without a doubt, make SEVERAL times during the year.  I have had to take taxis, get rides from friends, whatever- only because our public transportation system is sadly underdeveloped.
