Cupcakes in Paris. Of course, as beautiful as you would expect!
mmmmmmm....
I had to start out this post with a general feeling of deliciousness. As an American who lives between Europe and the United States, I have a definite appreciation for the many types of pastries that you find along the way. And seriously, I haven't really met a dessert that I don't like. But, I must say, I don't exactly go hunting for American-style food while I travel. The cupcake is totally Americano- and, well, the Parisians have managed to add a certain, hmmm... "je ne sais pas."
This article in the New York Times this week describes this new American invasion, and .. well, how amazing do these cupcakes look??
MY favorite? The savory cupcake... yummy!
