Bringing the SUNSHINE to Rotterdam... and how CAULIFLOWER can be beautiful!

Well, as some of you may or may not know, I spend quite a lot of time in Holland.  I love it- a beautiful country full of beautiful people!  And while my vocabulary is a bit limited to lekker (tasty), mooi (pretty) and various types of alcohol and other important parts of the food groups, like slagroom (whipped cream, yum!), I have managed to integrate myself pretty well here!
So, now that I'm here, what do I call Miami Style Watch, now?  Rotterdam style watch?  Dutch Watch?  It's about SO much more than style, though.  My life here is totally different, and amazing, and new.  Art, biking, media, travel... well, details on that later.
Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions for a new name for this blog, please let me know!

Today I went to the market for vegetables and I absolutely had to buy the most gorgeous vegetable there.  The cauliflower.  Or, the bloemkool.  I mean, seriously... doesn't this just make you happy?  Am I a total freak that beautiful food gives me a little warm happy feeling?
As someone who doesn't eat meat, I am a true vegetable lover.  And I mean it.  You should have seen me with the head of red lettuce I found yesterday.  They pack it in a cardboard cone with the roots ATTACHED!!!  What the hell are we eating in the USA when a little market in Rotterdam has food that makes our look like it was run over with a truck before we get to it?  I am doing a little happy dance here.

So, while I continue to unpack.. while I try to get over my jetlag... while we plan our day for tomorrow (many more pics!)... enjoy the item of the day that made me happy!!

(seriously, I want to name it)
