I love Chicago.  other than the fact that my work here is awesome and my family is here, the city itself is SUCH a great destination!  The people are nice, and they LOVE their team sports.  People in Chicago don't really need much of an excuse to get together, drink, and celebrate!

Anyhow, I was here last night watching the BLACKHAWKS win the Stanley Cup!!!!  People were seriously freaking out.  Me?  If I had any idea that Ice Hockey involved a bunch of big bearded dudes skating around so gracefully, while losing teeth and taking pucks to the face- well, maybe I would have watched a few more games!

So, congrats to the Blackhawks... and goodbye to my favorite aspect- THE PLAYOFF BEARD.

Yes, they all grown beards during the playoff.  I love it!  Maybe it's because I'm Canadian as well as American, maybe it's because I secretly think the Mountain Man look is hot- whatevs.  It's just awesome!  (And yes, my man can grow the BEST Beard ever!!!!)
