I truly believe that public transportation should be improved in every city so that it is an easy, efficient, and cheap way to get around.  Why the hell do we pay taxes and deal with all of those damn rules if you can't even get from the airport to the center of the city without a hassle?
One of the reasons that I LOVE Chicago is the blue line- you just jump on the train and it brings you straight to downtown Chicago, for $2.25.  Quick, easy, simple- just like it should be.  There's nothing worse than being stuck in the back of a car in traffic after getting off a flight, trust me!

So when I stay with my brother, I hop on the bus to get to his neighborhood- and last time, I saw the cutest kid.  I had to share!  I used to ride Chicago buses with my mom when I was this little one's age- just check out the look on his face!  Priceless...
