Wow, I don't really know where to begin if you are not familiar with DROOG Design.  A Dutch conceptual design collective, DROOG is a collective of amazing minds.  Really- over the past summer, as I wander around Europe and the United States- when I go to a design shop, I inevitable am drawn to the DROOG design product.  or, a Moooi product (another blog article.)
It's starting to get annoying!!


My favorite part about them is that they take traditional objects- for example, the chest of drawers, or the parasol- and they turn it into something truly unique and beautiful.
And NOW?  They're going to NYC!  Yipee! 
I can't wait.

Sugar cage by Sofie Lachaert & Luc d'Hanis
