A few posts back I wrote about the Carolyn Murphy cut that I desperately wanted when I first moved to NYC a million years ago... it's a cut that I loved, and my best friend loved, too.  We both have long blond hair, and- to see this cut on a model whom we both loved- well, let's just say we came very close to the scissors!

Alas- neither of us ever took the plunge!  I attribute it to when we both- 10 years before we ever met each other, one living in Maine, the other in Virginia- went into our respective hair salons and got the dreaded "Dorothy Hamil" cut.  That's right, at some point we were both really, really cute, and then walked out into a rather AWKWARD stage.

I won't be posting pics of those days, trust me...

Anyhow, who knows?  Maybe one day I'll chop it all off.  Doubtful, as I am essentially lazy, long hair is easy peasy, and I don't feel like shooting my whole modeling book again.  But never say never!!
